Why join People of the Prana?
1.
Waking up early sets up your day.
Believe it or not, early morning is the best time to learn how to breathe and meditate. Most of the world is still asleep so it is much more conducive to entering into silence. Taking the time to connect to yourself & your breath, as well as set clear intentions first thing in the morning always makes for a better day.
2.
You don’t have to do it alone.
Starting any new practice is hard BUT doing it with others makes it much easier. Our community of breathers hold the torch because let’s face it, it’s much easier to wake up when there are a bunch of sleepy-eyed familiar faces waiting for you to show up on the other end of the screen (think of the morning practice sessions like a giant wellness slumber party where everyone is cheering you for taking first steps to look after your mental and physical health).
3.
Magic happens when you show up everyday.
There are no quick fix solutions, there is only the gradual tending to something over time. This is called PRACTICE. By showing up every morning to practice, you nourish what you want to grow; conscious breathing. I created this morning group because I want to help people develop a breathing practice and I know that repetition is the key to learning. When you do something everyday, it becomes your habit. My goal is that conscious breathing becomes your habitual way of being in the world. Because conscious breathing quickly turns into conscious living, and then magic does happen. People have told me of how much their life has improved since they committed to showing up to the morning practices.
4.
Eat Prana for Breakfast.
Breathing well is like serving really good food to your nervous system and for your entire being. Wouldn’t you want that first thing in the morning? YUM. YUM. YUM.
